So much that…

Perth is so small that…
My BestFriend and I were having dim sum in Northbridge and I was telling her about the boy I kissed at the HB Bar when minutes later HE walks past the restaurant! Freaky! When I first noticed him, I thought he was just some random indie boy I was checking out - it took me awhile to realise it was him.

One of my close friends and I have grown apart so much that…
The other night catching up for dinner for the first time in MONTHS, she actually resorted to saying “What can we talk about… I know! Let’s talk about beauty products!”. It was a real struggle. Kind of sad - but then we never had a lot in common in the first place.

I value sleep so much now that…
I plan my weekend activities around getting enough sleep and sleeping in! I even go as far as penciling in my afternoon naps on Saturday in my diary and my cell phone calender. I had to meet one of my clients on Saturday morning (which is usually my sleep-in day) so instead I pushed all my Sunday activities back by 3 hours.

Life in general is funny yet so cruel that…
The day Miss. 23 (one of my bestest buds) broke the news to me that she was going to come back to Perth after leaving to reside in the UK permanatly earlier this year, was the same day that one of my bestest boy friends broke the news to me that he is leaving Perth for a job he was offered elsewhere. Am I never meant to have all my best friends in the same place at the same time?

I get so annoyed when someone repeatedly says/writes my name incorrectly so much that… I make a mental note to purposely fuck up their name the next time I need to email them or greet them. Alex become Alan. Jane becomes Janette. Angela becomes Andrea.. and so on…

  1. I totally get you on the sleep thing! #1 priority! As much as I love you, sleep gets first preference…hahaha.
The other thing that I always have to work my schedule around is washing my hair…gah…the joys of being a [girly] girl :p

  2. I always feel a little guilty putting sleep before brunching with friends on weekends Sha… tehehe.. But they’re still students and don’t realise the beauty of sleep!

Hehhe I get you on the washing hair thing. I wash mine every morning though so it has worked into my daily routine, but I know if I didn’t have to wash my hair or blowdry, I’d cut off at least 30 minutes from my getting ready time!
